Keri came to Hill Crest with me yesterday because she wanted to see what I'm always raving about in the evenings. She also fell in love with the school and saw how much I love it. It's so nice when people want to come and see what it's all about. We talked about her placement vs mine...all she does is sharpen pencils and hand out erasers and play with the kids sometimes, we've had such different experiences through this whole thing and we all seem to agree that mine is the most rewarding, whoops! :)
6 of us girls went to dinner last night because four are leaving today :( We've all become such good friends in this short period of time, I'm so sad to see them go. As we all crammed into the little taxi home, we were trying to fit Whitney somewhere but she just had to crawl ontop of everyone and put her feet on the ceiling. I was in the front with the driver and was laughing so hard I was crying and couldn't breathe. I started thinking about how often I do a deep belly laugh here...which is essentially every day. When I think about home, I can't even remember the last time I've laughed so hard and so much. It just makes me love being here with these people even more, I hate that they're leaving. At least we have next summer, and everyone is planning on coming back then so I'm already excited. Keri is leaving today so we're spending the day at the best place in Arusha having drinks and making beads! Time to go, and know that while you're reading this I'm probably laughing my head off and thinking about how much I love Arusha and the people I'm with!
